WHY I LOVE MY JOB

please feel free to add posts about why your job is a great fit for you aswell!

This is my first post! Woo hoo! I am so excited to get this blog up and running so i can share with the world the enjoyment i get from my choice of career and and if we are lucky maybe i can spread some of the joy i have to others. In 2006 I became an auctioneer and still to this day it remains a passion for me however when i first graduated i had my mind set on how great it would be running my own auctions just to learn a very short time afterward that to meet legality regulations you must first have a total of $25,000 in bonds to run an auction. like many people I didnt have alot of money or any knowledge base of how to earn some so I could not buy the bonds I so desperatly needed and i had no assets to put up for them, to top it all of i was propbably one of if not the most “broke” person of all my friends or family so i had no chance of getting help for that large of an amount. Through all the depair I felt, I remained determined to find a way to make my dream a reality. The answer it turns out was simple, Charity auctions! Turns out I didnt need the bonds for charity and I was also informed that i didn’t even need a business licence, just get a registered trade name and your good to go! Anyway, long to short of it , I Already had 3 young boys and to teach them the importance of love and kindness toward others was very impotant to me and resulted in a huge change over the years of how i myself treat people and the way I feel about other peoples importance to the world but i could never imagine how drastically my feelings would change unyill 2011 when my daughter was born, now having a little girl, that changes everything! I got of my lazy butt and started with charity, doing a charity auction however takes alot of time money and planning so i focused on fundraisers and other special events to help raise money for various different organizations but in the end it turns out i have done my lagest part in the advertising of evemts for others. In the end i suppose i have started this blog so people can know about the different places i am holding events and the different people i am doing it for, also if you or someone you know would like to add a charity event of any type of event, even if it’s just something you think would be fun to let people know about then post your butt off. life is about fun and i love my job, thats when i have the most fun.

The power of celebration

Hello viewers and friends, I thought this was a very wonderful site for anyone who likes to hear the “good” news so i hope you will take the time to check it out and enjoy it as much as i did

Defeat Despair

Blogger Trip April 2015 Celebration! That’s exactly what these four incredible women brought us, April 2015.

“People of our time are losing the power of celebration. Instead of celebrating we seek to be amused or entertained. Celebration is an active state, an act of expressing reverence or appreciation. To be entertained is a passive state–it is to receive pleasure afforded by an amusing act or a spectacle…. Celebration is a confrontation, giving attention to the transcendent meaning of one’s actions.”Abraham Joshua Heschel

“We marveled that while most of us had never met each other, we talked and laughed as if we’d known each other for years.  Which, of course, we had.” Laurie B

There really is power in celebration, and I’ve been blessed to experience it recently, in many episodes.  The most remarkable one lately is the visit I referred to in an earlier blog.  Four of my all-time favorite bloggers…
